Dams Búðarhálsvirkjn are new fishing area in the highland, were built to divert water from spilling into River Thjorsa.
Sporðöldulón can be good fishing lake in
next few years and where Kaldakvíslsur roundings are very barren and desolate, because the few vegetated spots disappeared. The colour of the water is milky white because of the glacial water diverted into it and north part of the lagoon is clear and fine fishing spot .
