Valley Husadalur is somewhat larger than Valley Langidalur and its woods are thriftier. At the foot of the Husadalur Cliff are ruins of houses, which might partly date back to the settlement of the area. Two families from the Landeyjar County attempted settlement in the valley in the beginning of the 19th century. They only stayed there for one year and since then the area has been abandoned except for the ever increasing number of visitors. No relics or artefacts have been discovered in the valley, probably because of accumulation of soil.
