Holaskjol Camping

Region: Highland
Coordinates: 63.9077545° N 18.6048317° W

Holaskjol is located in Lamskardsholar next to an old lavafield that from when Eldgja erupted, the years 934-940. It is a peaceful and beautful place with just a 5 minute walk up the lavafield to an unnamed waterfall in Sydri-Ofaera, that many call Silfurfoss or Litli-Gullfoss, we like to call it Huldufoss. The lavafield provides a good cover for Holaskjol so there is almost never much wind. Also many hiking trails in the area.
