Lake Eiriksvatn has an area of 0,77 km² and it is located 278 m above mean sea level. River Sudura feeds it and its discharge is Fitjaa, which spills into lake Skorradalsvatn.
The so-called „Electric Line Road” passes it. There is quite a lot of 1-2 pounder lake char in the lake and ice fishing is also very popular during winter. The ruins of the long abandoned farmstead, Eiriksstadir, are on the lake.
The distance from the capital is about 90 km.
