Sigurhaedir (Triumphal Heights), house built in 1903 by the Rev. Matthias Jochumsson, one of Iceland’s greatest poets, and his home until his death in 1920.
It stands just below Akureyri Church and is entered from the church steps. Includes a collection of his letters and manuscripts.
