Technically the same river. The former flows into the lake Vestmannsvatn and the latter pours out of it and into the Laxa in Adaldalur Valley. This is a 200 to 300 salmon fishery with, each part fished with two rods and separate lodges. The are small volume rivers, mere streams. Despite vanishing into the Laxa, the Salmon of Reykjadalsa and Eyvindarlaekur are mostly grilse.
There is some netting for trout in the Westmannsvatn with a few salmon as a bycatch.
