Hvolsvollur 8 km |<-Eyvindarmuli Farm ->Fjallabak South (Sydra) Middle-Route
Farm Eyvindarmuli in Fljotshlid County was a church site.
Its name is derived from the first settler on the property according to „Book of Settlements”. During catholic times, the church was dedicated to John the apostle. During the Sturlunga Era, the farm was among the manors of the Oddaverjar dynasty, and during the earlier part of the 16th century, Holmfridur Erlendsdottir the Wealthy lived there. Her private chapel, called the Chapel House, in Arkvorn was connected to the farm by the path called Holmfridargata. Her descendants still live at the farm.
