The Dynjandisfoss is the greatest waterfall of the Northwest Peninsula, also called Fjallfoss. The river Dynjandi is the discharge of several lakes in the mountains. The total height of this waterfall and others below is about 100 m.
Where the water flows over the edge, it is about 30 m wide, but at the bottom about 60 m. The farm Dynjandi stood near the estuary, near the present parking area (toilets).
