This is the region’s second salmon river of some note. It is fished with two to three rods like the Laugardalsa but usually yields slightly less. Every now and then during downswings, the Langadalsa will obtain the upper hand, but generally speaking the Laugardalsa is the better river. Having said that, the Langadalsa is usually sold out as it is very popular among native anglers. This river has a good solid lodge but no staff to do the cooking. The river runs through a beautiful valley and has a variety of holding pools, ranging from falls and fast running deep pools, to slow moving flats.
