Mts Grisatungufjoll (736 m.) is a small mountain range in District Southern Thingeyjarsysla to the north of the road across Moorland Reykjaheidi and Lake Hoskuldsvatn.
In 1965, three halberds were discovered there in a gully, the longest one 2,3 metres long. Such weapons were used in Europe from the 14th throught the 16th centuries, and probably were imported to this country during this period. In 1868, the first halberd was discovered in the Mt Pass Vatnskard.
