Hotel Skaftafell near Vatnajokull glacier

Hotel Skaftafell is a comfortable 3 star tourist class hotel and invites you to one of the most wonderful and panoramic locations in all Iceland. The rooms are located in four different buildings and are all on the ground floor. Our restaurant seats 90-100 people and last but not least you should stop by at our fully licensed bar on the second floor with an outstanding view over the Vatnajokull glacier.

All rooms at Hotel Skaftafell have a work desk, satellite TV and a private bathroom with a shower. WiFi internet access is available.

Staff can help arrange excursions to the beautiful surroundings with volcanoes, glaciers and a rich wildlife.

À la carte dishes, as well as a buffet breakfast, are available in the hotel restaurant. The hotel has a fully licensed bar on the 2nd floor with magnificent glacier views.

The glacier lagoon Jokulsarlon is only 40 minutes drive from Hotel Skaftafell. The hotel is located by the Route 1 road.
