Hellissandur Camping Grounds

The campsite is located on the left when arriving from the town Rif. Many walking paths surround the campsite and Snaefellsjokull glacier is not far away.

The campsite is located in a beautiful lava called Sandahraun. The area has a new service house with good facilities, including a kitchen, toilets, showers and washbins. There is electricity in the area.

The campsite is operated by the information center in Snaefellsbae that is located in the next town, Olafsvik, about 9 km distance from Hellissandur.
