The Nine Wonders of Iceland

hut stands approximately 720 m. over sea level, accommodates 16 persons, includes kitchen equipment and gas cooking stove. Additionally there is 220v inverter to load cameras and PCs. As there is no water reservoir in area, rain water is gathered in water tanks. The 9-10 km long hiking trail from the ascend of Mt Herdubreid is marked, and so is the trail from the hut to the Dreki huts, south of Mts Dyngjufjoll.
