This lake is located on the Tvidaegra Moorland north of glacier Langjokull. It has an area of 1,7 km². It is shallow and situated at 413 m above sea level.
Its discharge enters the renowned salmon river Kjarra. The walk to the lake is long and difficult because of bogs, which have to be crossed. The catch consists of lake char, brown trout and the occasional salmon. There are a few refuge huts in this area.
