Hofsa Vopnafjordur

About Hofsa Vopnafjordur

A large river in the Vopnafiord region, fished with 6 to 8 rods per day.  It is highly popular, although foreign leases have crowded out local anglers, some of whom had fished the river annually for over twenty years. The river has a fully catered lodge and most of the river is easily accessible. The summers catch varies but usually fluctuates between 600 and 1600 salmon.
