Hunkubakkar Guesthouse is situated in South of Iceland on road 206, only 1km from highway nr.1 and about 6 km from Kirkjubaejarklaustur.

It is a family run guesthouse since 1974 along with a sheepfarm.

Hunkubakkar Guesthouse is the ideal accommodation for those who want to explore the South of Iceland as many of the major attractions such as Fjaðrárgljúfur, Lakagígar Craters, Skaftafell National Park and Jökulsárlón (the Glacier lagoon) are within a relatively short driving distance.

We offer accommodation total of 20 rooms in small, bright and comfortable, double/twin or three-person cottages with private bathroom and we also have 6 rooms with shared facilities.
