A Northeast river on the Melrakkaslétta, fished with two to three rods and equipped with a good solid self catering lodge.
Large salmon are frequently taken from this river as other rivers in this part of Iceland. it is not easily assessable though, as it is leased by a Swiss syndicate. As in most rivers in the region, the annual catch varies from 50 to 300 salmon according to conditions.
