About Graenalon Lagoon

Glacial Lagoon Graenalon is a constantly changing body of water, which has been diminishing in area with the reatreating glacier tongue Skeidararjokull. It emptied rather regularly causing the swelling of River Nupsvotn at the westernmost edge of the glacier tongue.
