We will make our Golden Circle way from Reykjavík up to the beautiful Icelandic Highlands courtesy of the famous moonlike Kjölur route that offers a range of interesting tales as narrated by our guide. Kerlingarfjöll has magnificent geothermal activity in abundance. Your guide will show you and explain the various natural features of the area. You will be transported up to the hot spring area that is situated right between the two rivers of Ásgarðsá and Kisa. You will experience the uniqueness of this untouched highland patch; glacier parts and snowdrifts, passes and ravines, hot springs and still pools. Afterwards you will be offered to have a lunch of locally composed ingredients at the resort, further widening your experiences. After returning from the highlands we explore the Golden Circle a top destination for Icelandic visitors and a genuine “must see in Iceland”.
