The Stakksfjordur Bay is a deep southern inlet of the big Faxi Bay between spit Keilisnes in the east and the Stakkur Peak of the Holmur Cliff in the west.  The Stakkur Peak is crowned with a lighthouse.  The bay was named after a freestanding rock in the sea off Cliff Holmsberg.
