This mountain hut is the property of  and operated by Myvatn Tours.  It accommodates 8-10 people, and is reserved for the company's clients.

The Askja Tours from lake Myvatn are operated from June 15th to August 31st.

June 15th to July 15th on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

July 15th to August 15th daily.

Departure time 08;00 from Hotel Reynihlid on lake Myvatn.
